I did the same. I was working with one TT for 3 too, before I finally got my second one. You can learn scratching and everything, but I'll give you a good advice:
After you got it how to scratch with your right hand, put the TT on your left hand so you learn it with both hands! That's really important, cause if you don't do it (like me) it is gonna be real hard to learn scratching and all that stuff with your other hand!
well, if you have a mixer and a CD, you could always hook them up and practice beat matching from the CD to the turntable. I did, and look where it got me... uhm, come to think of it, I've gotten nowhere...
