I bought the numark cdn34s a month ago mainly because I didnt have money for anything more expensive than that. Now that I have some more money saved up, what I can do is that I can return the numark cdn34s and spend an extra 150$ and buy the pioneer cdj100s (260 each).

Are they worth that much more?

I'll give you my sincere opinion Captdoobij, 'cos I own a pair of CDJ1000s and one CDJ100S and though the 1000's are lovelly and extremelly advanced, bla bla bla... I still love the 100S much more for it's reliability, soud quality, precision and ease of use. It's compact, precise, reads EVERY CD or CDR (not CDRWs though) you insert on the excellent slot-in system... for pure mixing purposes the CDJ100S are the best CD decks for me, at least the best I've owned (and the list includes a few Denons, a Tascam, some other Pios... ;) ) I got smashed at the Pio BBS for saying that but it's the only deck that hasn't the bugs found in any other player, even from Pio.

So, IMHO, it's worth the trade and the extra $ :D
