I WANT TO BUY MY BOYFRIEND CD MIXERS FOR CHRISTMAS THE THING IS THAT I DONT KNOW **** ABOUT DJ EQUIPTMENT I SAW ONE IN http://www.planetdj.com/cgi-bin/webcart/webcart.cgi BUT I DONT KNOW IF IS A GOOD ONE IS THE Numark UPM Party Machine CAN YOU HELP ME AND TELL ME IF IS A GOOD ONE. HE HAS NEVER DONE ANY MIXING BEFORE THIS WOULD BE HIS FIRST EQUIPTMENT DO YOU THINK IS A GOOD ONE???????? PLEASE ANSWER ME !!!!!!!!!

Consider turntables, much more fun !!!

Not too sure about CD mixers personally, i can't seem to see where the hands on approach and personal talent comes into play.

(No offence to any users !!!!)

Alternatively maybe look at some turntables, you can get a cheap (decent) package from plenty of places.

Hours of fun to be had.
