ground wire

i lost my ground wire...anybody know how to get a new one? or can i use any piece of wire?

What do you mean you lost your ground wire? If it was removable then yeah you can use just about any type of wire to replace it. If it was soldered into the turntable and you still got some of the old wire left just splice another piece of wire onto the existing wire and you should be good.
