Getting Decks

Hey everybody,

I am just wondering if you guys could give me some advice. I am just starting out and i can afford one brand new Tech 1200 and maybe a PMC 03A. But i also have enough to buy two ok decks and a mixer. What do you guys think. Should i get the one Tech 1200 and mixer and then save until i have enough for a another 1200 or should i get all the OK equipment now? I really want to start and i am not going to give up after a couple months either. If i get the Tech 1200 now how could i practice with just one turntable?

Any advice or input would be great!

I don't see a point in getting 1 tech and a mixer. Can't do anything with it, except scratch a bit..heh. Get 2 tables and a mixer so you can actually use it. And when you have extra money, sell one piece and buy a better piece.

if u are not playing in public yet and just wanna practice at home till u get the hang of it and be ready then get
a mixer
one teachnics
and one cheap, crappy belt-drive TT
use it to play songs and mix with the sl-1200
and when u get the cash buy another 1200
