fader bleeds. now what?

dude, my crossfader bleeds on the side that i use when i skratch. the people at Numark are sending me a replacement fader at no cost. is replacing the fader gonna stop the bleeding?

and another thing. focus faders and optical faders? are these faders undestructable. and i was looking at a sweet optical fader mixer for the same price of a regular vestax mixer. are vestax mixers that damn good?

Vestax are the best mixers. I think its because of their solid construction. I know people say the stanton sk-2f is just as good as an 05 pro, but its not. I have the sk-2f, i like it but, its no 05. One thing, i think that makes the sk cheaper, is the materials used, such as the knobs and sh*t like that. Its all cheap plastic, while the 05 has good quality solid knobs, which are metal.

The focus fader is dope though. Optical faders have very clean and sharp cut offs, thats why i love it,
