I have a smac pro 20 thats a 8 months old and has seen its fair share of use. Recently I noticed that along the edges the black surface is made of a thin piece of metal (or something else), is starting to curl up ever so slightly at the corners.

Any of you out there notice this happening with your elcers?
 
I too have had my Smac for a year and a bit and notice nothing of the sort... do you think your one may have had someone try to 'repairs'??
 
It was brand new when I got it. It is a pretty slim mixer and I do tend to grab the sides of the mixer while mixing so I am just going to chalk it down to that for now. It is a very, very minor cosmetic thing that I couldn't honeslty care about. Just needed to know if maybe it was something that I should look out for down the road.
