Hope that topic isn't too odd.
I was in Sam Ash the other day and had both the denon dnx800 and 400 sitting on the shelf. They weren't plugged in but I still was able to get my hands on the dnx400.
The very first thing I noticed was that the channel faders on my dnx800 feel a lot smoother and more solid than the dnx400 (I also tried it with the store's dnx800 model and same thing). Same story with the knobs. Personally I prefer the bigger knobs on my 800 to the smaller 400 ones. To anyone that may know, were the components used in the 800 and the 400 different?
And just to throw this out to anyone that wants to buy the Pioneer CDJ 100s, I found them for 258 USD and got Guitar Center to match that price.
