That's what I like hear brother. Bandcamp is worldwide without the fame! Post and sell music. I've discovered so music talent on there. Your music deserves not only be heard BUT sold.
So many on this board is always looking for another man's opinion while you put PRODUCE albums. I respect that fam!

Ill take recognition from whoever rappers, producers, porn stars, etc..it doesn't matter as long as someone else hears it. Thats the sole reason why I make music "for it to be heard".

20,000 people on facebook hearing your music doesn't guarantee you a paycheck either, I think your odds of getting placed are better here then on facebook with millions of people who do nothing all day but gossip and listen to music.

Who looking to get placed? I sell beats without any props or thread counts what so ever. You sound like you use facebook just like my wife. If that's how you use FB...That's on you. I have a family FB and music FB for business. Gossip...lol....That's FP all day.:rofl:

I dont even go on facebook anymore at all. everybody fuycking everybody baby daddy..lol...Fuyck facebook i dont see how anyone could take music networking on that site seriously.

Im looking to get placed im not interested in selling beats to a bunch of cats no one will ever hear of. I like networking trying to get my product out to someone who is actually going to be heard.

My job pays more than leasing out a couple $25 beats a week.
 
What's been working for me is buying ad space on Facebook. My ad runs in NY only (I live in Cali) and my daily budget is only $2 (small time). In less than a week I've gotten over 50 Likes (it's like a mailing list) and sold beats to cats I've never met. After their payment is confirmed via PayPal I email them a WAV. Easy!

Naw id rather stay out of that market, because most of those rappers aren't up and coming at all just a bunch of guys rapping.

I think its important to know who your actually selling your beats. You not caring how good the guy is rapping on your beat that you sold shows that you dont have any true value on your product.

Id rather know who im giving my product to i wanna know his skill set and his buzz. With me its not even about selling beats its more like investing your work in a person

Look people are whingeing that nobody visits the Feedback forum and that when threads are rightly moved there from here they get less attention - so who's fault is that? If all members took the time and effort to look around the whole site then all members would benefit. We started the featured artists forum, and that had over 350 views with only 15 votes - now why is that? All take no give maybe?

If there is something about the site etc you want to comment on thenb start a thread in the About FP forum asa) thats hwere it should be, and b) it's more likely to be seen and actioned there.
 
Carnage you are preaching to the choir lol. Some of the people here just don't understand that. To them this is the only section of FP and everything should go here and if it doesn't they do not understand why. The same reason why they don't understand why their music doesn't belong here but discussions on commercial music is appropriate. Ive tried explaining I have grown tired of caring.
 
Xabition is the reason why I am here after a permanent ban that lasted 4 years.
People already said it...don't use FP as a tool for trying to further yourself in the music world. These are all competitive not collective people trying to do the same thing. You will be psyched out.
Before myspace trickery FP was where my music got the most traffic but that was 7 years ago pre-myspace and FB and when hardware boom bap beats were in.

Well I'll be damned...I was wondering why you just stopped posting...I dont post much on FP anymore but I get my lerk on occasionally to see who's doing what and if theres any links to useful stuff i dont know about. You've always been a strong part of FP, kinda explains why this is just about a ghost town. Oh well, I still got love for FP but like Rome said, "There's 10 active posters and 5 are serious musicians"...lol If the mods arent moding eachother then the ranks of power will create alot more refugees then residents...
If I left then there's seriously something wrong cause I'm as loyal as my dogs.



Besafe Modus and dont forget about your fans here when you progress forward with new projects. Your cd's still get 1500 watts of exposure in my ride man...
