50 Cent FAIL...RICKY RAWSE sold more records ... not even wanna say that Ross music sounds much better fake or not...50 is fake too

Last edited:
thats because ricky's album has been out for 133 weeks compared to 50's 3. I could probly sell more than what fifty has in 3 weeks if you gave me nearly 3 years to do it.

400 ppl out the whole United States bought Birdman's album last week..oh wow

am i stupid or has it not been 133 weeks since rick ross dropped deeper than rap?

52 weeks in a year?

133/52 = 2.55

that was released in april, not 2 and a half years ago.

am i missing something?

Ross is so fake he transcends space and time as we no it. He is just a fat space anomaly now.

Look at all those big names who had monster singles, and who's album isn't even past gold...

12/4/Drake/So Far Gone/12,316/257,579

12/8/Kid Cudi/Man on the Moon/6,355/215,767

11/14/New Boyz/Skinny Jeanz & A Mic/3,830/47,429

13/15/Pitbull/Rebelution/3,419/126,970

50/32/Soulja Boy/Souljaboytellem/1,239/337,751

Producers...THESE ARE YOUR PLACEMENT SALES.

If you got a joint on SB's album, @ $.06 per unit sold, you'd have $20,000...and that's being GENEROUS.

Your talking to the few that actually want to make a full time career out of their creative music output, most however just want 'bragging points' so they can wake up in the morning and tell themselves they're somebody special. Nothing wrong with that either just depends on the individual's TRUE motivation.

out those, only florida has presence with his music outside US and he makes huge stacks by touring, radio play and mp3 sales. Drake's presence is mostly internet-buzz which results into 0 sales, Pitbull's single is just slowly rising the charts now and he will be making big money off radio and mp3 sales later on.

I'm not questioning whether or not the artists are making money. What I'm pointing out to people is how much albums ARE NOT selling, and how much ACTUAL MONEY these ALBUM PLACEMENTS people are chasing will actually get them.

Albums aren't selling, singles are. So getting an album cut will get you little more than bragging rights.

Welcome to McDonald's, would you like an apple pie with that?

The smart producer will see those non-single placements as more of a marketing tool to enchance their own brand value as oppose to being primary revenue source

Now I see why everybody and their mama wants to be a producer/songwriter.

Wow. Those numbers surprise me. Like, they're too big! People still sell over 10K a week? That truly amazes me.

I think doing dope music has still relevance nowadays,

these albums were really dope, they were also the highest sellings:

78/12/Lil Wayne/Tha Carter III/5,401/3,302,248

62/19/T.I./Paper Trail/2,384/2,037,418

50 Cent's album wasn't dope at all it also didn't sell, even though he went hard on his promotion, causing attention aggressively, and even had his online hustle on.

So can you really blame the people for not buying all the wack ass music that is in that list?

Flo Rida's album was DOPE musicialy but it was mixed horribly, and alone for that reason I didn't buy it nor did I listen to it more than 2 times. Mixing is a major part of the quality of the music.

Even The Game sold more than most of the people, and I don't think it's because of his promo hustle or anything, I just think all of his albums were pretty good, I can't front on him he might be talking dumb sh*t as hell and might even be bi-polar but he def brings out quality music.

15/30/Sean Paul/Imperial Blaze/1,183/74,354

WTF...74 thousand for Sean Paul? lol

Dancehall usually has its brief mainstream spikes and then cool off just as fast. The last run before Sean Paul was Shaggy...
