Rick Ross On Eminem: 'I'm Not Impressed With The Music'

Bawse is one helluva confused mofo with an ego as big and empty as a desert. One Eminem song takes a dump on his entire career.

^^^^^ No.

I say both, but I'd give the edge to Deeper Than Rap from a productioin standpoint. Some of those beats are insane and actually shows how real musicians get down.

Eminem was WAY better back in the day but its unfair to compare Eminem (an AAA artist) to Rick Ross (a B artist). Shady is on his 5th album and with a powerh house like Interscope + these stans, Shady can't lose.

Each artist has their own lane, just leave it at that.

Talking about the rapper here, not the producers behind him.

C'mon, man, how's that an excuse when Em got Dre?

IMO Em had the better album, but I'm not thickheaded enough to think everyone else would agree or to think I know something that people who don't like Em's sh*t don't.

This recent Em explosion over a slightly better than mediocre album makes me wonder if any of you "futureproducers have a mind of your own or if all that "commercialism" talk you spat 24/7 only applies to rappers who aren't white and produced by Dre.

It was bad enough with Roth on these forums, but this Em sh*t is corny. That dude can't do no wrong in y'all's eyes which is funny when we're talking about a 24/7 f**kup.

In the words of Em "IIII GUESS IT'S TIIIIME FOR YOUUU TO HATE ME AGAIN"

The difference is people actually remember the verses to songs like "Stan" & "The Way I Am," when Ross actually makes a song that isn't carried completely by the beat & hook he can talk sh*t until then he needs to look in a mirror. Eminem's concepts & patterns are what makes songs like "Cleanin' Out My Closet" good, take away Ross's verses on "Maybach Music" & "Magnificent" and you can stick damn near any artist in there. He's interchangable.......

I think yall reading into it a little too deep. If you ask me who's the better artist it's Em hands down but if you ask me who has the better album between Deeper Than Rap & Relapse imo it's DTR.

Hell no
Relapse surpases Deeper Than Rap
Relapse is mad deep and most you ain't liking it because Em is using an accent and yes talking about rape woman and killing.
That's just Eminem point blank.
In my opinion Relapse is a good album and way better than deeper than rap.

I never said Relapse wasn't good, i just said personally i enjoy Deeper Than Rap more. There's really no wrong answer it's all personal preference.

i'm not ross's biggest fan but i agree with him regarding eminem and g-unit. em's last few releases (excluding relapse) have been embarisingly poor for such a talented artist. and its about time g-unit were dropped, interscope have really taken their eyes off the ball over the last few years, and g-unit are just one example. They are just a bunch of unimaginative average part timers who as far as i can see have no love or respect for hip hop or rap music. hopefully, em can now get back on track and start making some good music again.
