its hard to believe mariah carey was at the TOP of her game when all she is putting out is garbage now.

carey is still makin bread with new album too.

it's weird that MJ is makin -20 million$ a year with his and part of beatles publishings.

yeah that is crazy whats even crazier is that

the beatles and led zepplin and elvis continue to out sell every major act out now every year

how is that crazy

Where is 50. I thought he sold 11million on his first album alone. That list tells you one thing to sell mad records, you gotta lighten up on the creative side and make pop type tracks. The only artist I truly respect on that list is the Isley Brothers. I respect Bob Marley but I am not a big reggae expert. Many people who really know reggae will tell you Bob Marley did not make that authentic reggae.
I respect Hov because his lyrics come from the heart even though some of the tracks he spit on in past albums have been kinda watered down. Whitney Houston could sing back in the days but she made cheesy pop songs herself. Now as a Executive or Manager. I'd want to be affiliated with them all for obvious financial reasons.

Ok thanks. I overlooked Biggie and LL Cool J. I respect them both. Let's be real though the only reason Big is on there is because he second album sold 10 million joints. I think he was too gutter for the mainstream and they would not have purchased his album like that if he were alive. I am not dissing Big. I'm just saying those were bandwagon fans. LL Cool J is a legend. Forget what I said I missed mad artists.I should have said something like the only artist I respect who sold over 30 million joints is Pac. I did like the old Mike Jackson.

Pink Floyd is as creative as any music artist/group that ever came out in modern music history, and they are near the top of the list.

Also you got to realize just like Big, Pac, Jay made mainstream come to them so did AC/DC, Metallica, Nirvana, The Doors...the list goes on.

Just besides a handful of artist/groups, everybody on that list has some form of talent...
