What do you think were the best/worst albums of this year?

My favorite by far has to be Nas' Street's Disciple. That's just pure soulful classic music from start to finish, with some thugged-out rap on it too. I love it.

My least favorite has got to be S-N-double-O-P's new album, just because it let me down so much. But, there're still some decent tracks on there.
 
I think there was already a thread like this but anyways...

My favorite album of 2004 was:

College Dropout by Kanye West.

I also like To The Five Boroughs by the Beastie Boys.

I was pretty let down by Eminem's Encore and Shyne's Godfather Buried Alive. 2004 was a pretty cool year though, all in all.

how u going to say the beastie boys album was good.. every track sounded the same.

encore wasnt amazing... but to the 5 boroughs makes it look as if it was.

they cant rap.. and that cd hurt my ears.

liked: real talk. some decent tracks.

what i didnt: loyal to the game. most of the tracks were garbage.

Snoop-R and G
Anything the ying yang twins did and mannie Frsh


Encore is pushing it but by far not the worst
 
I haven't heard alot this year, but from what I have...

best: Ludacris - Red Lights District

worst: Lil Jon - Crunk Juice
Mario - Turning Point

the black album was my favorite album all year to be totally honest.

i dont know what the wackest was.

Agreed. There are too many wack joints to list, so I'll just post a few favs(in no particular order):

Anyways, my favourite albums were College Dropout, Kiss Of Death and No Said Date. Purple Haze, Welcome Back and D12 World were a few of my least favourites.

WORST: Encore

There are more bad ones, but I just never got them, I expected more from Eminem.

Gift of Gab's Solo Album:
4th Dimensional Rocketships Going Up
(loved his "Welcome Back" song Flashback....esp in comparassion to the "Welcome Back" Mase did)

Lloyd Banks:
Hunger For More



WORSE:

anything crunk

Encore...bad only because of my expectations

The Black Album, No Doubt!

Worst: Fabolous - Real Talk!! Don't spend all your your whole advance on one beat(Breathe) next time Fab. Breathe was a banger but the weight of the 12 or so pounds of wack-a** tracks was to much for it to carry.

Biggest let down (not the worst album but man was I disappointed): The Prequel - Method Man....Damn :(
 
i thought Real talk was pretty nice album... the first half pretty much sucked, but the quality went up like an elevator after 13th

I gotta totally disagree. Fab and Meth were both hot albums. I personally like Meths more than the Black Album.
