Mac Miller: Watching Movies With The Sound Off Album Review

After getting mixed reviews about his debut album (titled "Blue Slide Park") for forcing a more electronic/party sound with a seemingly carbon-copied monotone flow with no real substance to his lyrics, Mac Miller began to think out of the box. The Pittsburgh emcee began to explore himself as an artist which is clear with the release of a god awful 5-song Jazz EP under the moniker "Larry Fisherman". His next mixtape release, "Macadelic", was no help to his career. In fact, Miller has recently came out and said that during the tour following the release, he began to slip into a depression because nobody knew any lyrics and he believed he was "on his way out" of the business. With all of that being said, nobody really knew what to expect from his sophomore effort: "Watching Movies With The Sound Off". Hit the jump to find out!
