Kanye & Timbo Create Stronger Video

He was just tellin Kanye how to basically use stock drums underneath the weaker (or sampled) ones to increase the "knock." it's an age-old technique, but if you listen to Kanye's work, he'll do either-or....but he'll never blend. He'll use hard 808s and then weak sampled snares or claps, but he doesn't layer at all really. Just Blaze even said it...Ye's drums are groovy and soulful (at times), but not hard. Little did he know Kanye WANTS that sound, especially for songs like this. I'm pretty sure he'd wanna use this technique on "Flashing Lights" as well.

i dont wanna give the name of vst. Just hunt, and you'll probably find it. Its really dope. Look again at the video breal. Anybody who heard those sounds, and have the vst im talking bout could tell. Pretty much shows tim does use presets sometimes.
