What up FP! I wanted to know how many of ya'll have met super producers, as in been in their studio watching them work? If you have I'd love to hear the whole process!!

i had a dream like 4 months ago that i met kanye west. it was in a big croud and i asked him if he was working on any projects and he said yes. thats the closest ive came to meeting anyone big.

yeah i met timbaland, about a year and a half ago.( He was still a short fatty then) My homey works a big radio station down here in Fl, on my way in he was coming out. It shocked the **** outta me and I froze up! WIth no beat CD available (Note: success is when opportunity meets P R E P E R A T I O N!!), off the top of my head all i could think to ask was " will an mpc give me the drums I need to make proffesional beats?" Spoken like a straight groupie. He was like " yeah that'll do it[" (Another note: that mu****a dont even use an mpc!),and he and his entourage continued into the parking lot.

Also met jermain Dupri at a party (courtesy of my homeboy). Had a little convo with him, he was a lot cooler but it didnt help much. I know he likes the mpc 60 but other than that when i asked him what he used he might as well have been reading a samash catalouge out loud! He ended his "report" with "yeah man . . . i use everything." His heart was in the right place, but frustration made me wanna pick his little ass up and put him in my coat pocket! Maybe drop a couple tater tots in there everyday and keep him as pet.

from what you said, it seems like producers dont like to talk about what they use....and also, always have a beat cd, wherever you go, like a first aid kit or something

i've produced in sessions with or chilled in the lab with jazze (put me on to remy and ginger ale), banner (named me in the source as 1 of the 5 things in his studio survival kit) , mannie, dj smurf (mr. collipark), polow (the cockiest dude in atlanta!), brian cox, dent, adonis, jasper, dallas austin (super super cool), battle cat (validated me as a producer), jermaine (payin the bills off that dfb album), ryan leslie (kind of a hater, lol), lil c (young cat who did shoulder lean), st. denson (produced i get high with swizz), swizzy (super animated...really loves his job), dre & vidal (vidal is the coolest, richest, and most humble producer that you'll ever meet riding his bike to the studio), lil jon (gave me 4 pornos and some crunk juice during a session) and rico wade (booooy does rico have them grapes!!) the one i'm closest with, (besides polow or banner) oddly enough, is my boy rashad who is definitely the LEAST known and MOST underrated of all of these dudes, but he produced woo hah and ryhmes galore for busta, cant u see for total, doin it for LL, steelo for 702, and one more chance for biggie. (among others)

If there is anything really good on your beat cd, if a producer gets it they'll probably just steal your idea. Good chance you'll still get some recognition and opportunity for it, and you have to take the rist, but always keep that in mind. Never trust anyone...

I hope FYE or Tower record employees don't file it under the children's section by mistake. In for a real surprise :D

its called copywright and tag yo ish,if they were to come out with somewhat a version of his idea,a judge would get the picture when you're suing them................
