Do the neptunes use mpc for drums??

They use the ASR-190..i know cause i saw the video where pharrell was makin his drums on it and plus i read an interview were chad states that they sample all their drums straight to it
 
Ok thats cool .. does the asr have good swing, and velocity..??
 
The Neptunes could do their drum pattern on a Lunch Table and it would be hot. I'm sure they've used live drums sometimes and samplers at other times.
 
anyone know why the ASR is out of production? it is so popular and ppl are still trying to get there hands on one i cant understand why they stopped making it or why they haven't taken notice to the continued interest in there discontinued product and brought it back identical to there old model. from a business perspective it seems as if it would be a lucrative choice.
