All my studio gear was stolen

But on some real sht....

I actually DID get robbed a couple months ago. The life I live is real, ya know...so I kinda had a situation where the police kinda stormed in my house and arrested me behind some ol' bullsht linked to a former Co-producer/ composer I used to do bidness wit. That aside, my hood knew of me and I knew a few people had seen my setup. My hood is thugged, so I kinda knew it was a risk to set up there, but fucc it. I make 'gutta music' so that was just a part of 'staying true' and connecting wit the true vibe of these hustlas and these streets -at least I thought at the time. Besides, Id been there for years and never had any (theft)problems -niggs knew they didnt want it.

So when I got locked up, the whole hood was outside watchin'. These bttches brought about 3 city police and a coupla state officers, search dogs, everything tryna take me under (stupid bastids - I know never to keep my work at the house....but thats another...nevermind) I had this sinking feeling as they carted me away. Ya'll know these police never want to hear out your story, so they ain't give a fucc. So I'm calling from lockup tryna get somebody to watch over my crib. I call my Big Cuz the next morning, and he dropped the bomb on me. Said my door was kicked wide open and I didnt want to hear nothin else. I already knew. I was sitting in lockup for a week just fuming.

The damage? (1) Roland Fantom x6 (1) Laptop filled with 12 years worth of completed tracks, seems like millions of samples, completed mixdowns, a gang of audio editing and recording programs, a lotta VST/i's,THOUSANDS of MP3s, and a little porn. (1) 17" monitor (1) Roland vs2480 OMG!!!!

These bastids even grabbed up my duffle bag wit all my MIDI and audio cables, a lot of ZIP disks with samples and old HD's with old tracks. BTW, I've been grindin' out tracks since '95. (Yeah, I Got That Age Bttch do somthn!!..). Add to that a Plasma TV, XBox 360 and a gang of games and DVDs, I took a drilling with no Vaseline. Ouchie ouchie. At least they 'left me' my MPC2k, and my old trysty/ rusty Roland XP50 to practice on.

My point of this post, is..that was an aaight April Fools day joke, but folks don't jinx yourselves. Count your blessings, back up all your drives and info, and watch all these fools you have up in and out of your 'beat trap'. Cuz climbing back up from the bottom is really lame. Gottsta be a 'G'.

Ima be back in top form no later than June 1. I'm taking this time to improve my method - it's different working out another nigg's studio, ya know. Been studying more chord theory and audio engineering. I was always too busy 'making beats' to delve deeper into the details of it all. Knowledge is Kang.

That's excatly it right there... only ONE person has seen my setup, not that my area is the hardest but it's aint light either... I can't wait until I move in a couple months then i may feel a little better about it, maybe take a picture lol...

I didn't believe it, the thread was too late to believe it, that means there were many april fools before this one, but still, I didn't find it funny at all. You idiot don't even realize that you lose all the trust of this people that believed you and showed sympathy. You have no social intelligence, your stuff should get really stolen, then you'd be forced to hang out with people more, maybe this will teach you how to think of something funny.

If you didn't notice no one was laughing with you in your thread everybody was laughing about the jokes of others.

I'm not mad I'm just sayin my opinion, accept it, if you or he can't live with it then it's not my problem. I even laughed, but not about him, about BiggRome's joke, so this thread or any other stupidy on FP that is going on doesn't affect me. It's just sad that the biggest music forum has the lowest intellectual level.

Reasons why I'm not mad:
1. I just came from the doc and guess what? NO allergies at all against anything!
2. I have money, more than since a long time, I'ma cop super duper PC this month.
3. I have a lot of drive, I'm doing so many things, the day has not enough hours for me.
4. I love music more than ever and I'm able to do music every fvcking day and all day.
5. I own Windows Vista legally, I got the 32 and 64 bit together for mad cheap 100 bucks.
6. I have an iPod full of music and TV shows, that means entertainment pur for boring times, it's a lot of fun.
7. I can sleep when I want I can work when I want.
8. I'm skilled and get lots of good feedback.
9. I have the blessing to be an autodidact, I've learnt everything that makes me to who I am on my own, including english.
10. I have a good looking hairstyle and don't need to wear caps.

Thats a Damn Shame..

I have had SEVERAL associates LOSE their studios the very same way!!!



That's why I am VERY selective about WHO I let into my studio....

No CLICKS, CREWS, MOBS or SQUADS are allowed!!!!

Just a SELECT few....


Also I suggest that you WRITE DOWN all the serial #'s to your equipment and keep it in a SECURE location.....


This will GREATLY increase your chances of getting your stuff back...(If it hits the pawn shops)

But if someone keeps the stuff.....you may be screwed

I have renter's insurance for my cirb and its only $140/year.

Yeah, we got the same type down here who hang out in the grocery store parking lot with a binder asking for money for their football team... I'm like "homie, it's basketball season... Kcuf outta here."
 
that sucks. Look on ebay and ur local pawn shops and see if they got ur **** for sale!!!
