What are your pre-beatmaking rituals?

I thought it would be interesting finding out what you all do before sitting and producing a track & things get the creativeness running.


- I always have a massive bottle of water ready.

- I listen to some tracks or beats from other producers.

- I have a zig zag.

- Then I'm usually straight to beat making.

i tell the wife to leave me alone first of all.. then listen to some nasty tracks to get me hyped up.

been kinda demotivated lately though, so i need to find something thats gonna work better for me..

I really don't have any rituals. I just get to it. Usually I like to have a candle burning and the lights dimmed or off.

Sometimes I will sacrifice a chicken as a part of my pre-beatmaking ritual...*BURP*
