We see playing guitar as a form of mindful escapism, a way to create space between and individual and the busy mind . guitar playing is beneficial to your overall well being and mental health in other ways too, including helping you develop a greater sense of personal achievement.

What you say about this?

Playing guitar can be an amazing avenue for boosting your mental health. It's like a form of mindful escapism that allows you to create a soothing distance between yourself and the whirlwind of thoughts in your head. When you pick up that guitar and start strumming those strings, you enter a zone of pure tranquility. The music becomes your sanctuary, a place where worries fade away and your mind finds solace. Playing any instrument, not just the guitar, can help with all of that. There's also research which shows that playing and/or listening to music helps to strengthen connections between the two sides of the brain and their respective functions, which is why it's particularly helpful for children as their brains and intellects mature.
