what do you think of the manics?

i've been wanting to put this one up for a while now. what do you think of the manic street preachers? they are one of my favorite bands ever, right up there with the verve and radiohead (even influencing my name). i love their political lyrics and marxist outlook. but i also hear that alot of people cant dig their style. so i want to know what people think. (by people, i mean shaq d or someone who wanders in here by accident )

I'm the main person here, besides Liet, who knows about rock. That's why my posts are all over like grafitti. I'm not really a fan of their music, but they do it well. It just doesn't strike a chord with me.
