sorry for the bad joke, but i need to know how i can describe best my band, and answer to the worst question that people do me: "what kind of music you play?"
 
I'm not too big into labels other than rock or rap or country, so I just say it's good.
 
i can do a few of those

oasis
ocean colour scene

are both british trad rock.

blur (old stuff) is the definitive britpop.
(new stuff) maybe alternative (i dunno)?

isn't supergrass britpop? (i dunno about this one.)

nirvana is definitely grunge. so is pearl jam.

i think blink 182 and green day are technically called punk revival, but i dont know why, as punks detest both of these bands.

sum 41 wants to be a heavy metal band, modeled after iron maiden.

yes, i am quite bored right now :D
