Saw this new Kickstarter project earlier and thought I'd share the link here for anyone who might be interested.
This project is to reprint Daphne Oram's classic book An Individual Note, which has been out of print for many years.
Daphne Oram was a pioneer of electronic music, and way ahead of her time. In the 1960s she built an optical synthesiser, which could create sound by scanning waveforms painted on strips of 35mm film.
With four days to go the team now just have to raise a further £277 in order to reach the stretch target of £15,000 for a deluxe hardback edition of the book.
