This board is mainly occupied by hip hop producers.

The thing about rock producers is, they mainly direct artists and engineers, etc.

Along with a producer you will need studio musicians, and they cost.

The best thing for you would be to start a band.
 
I've done remixes with a few indie bands, stuff in the vein of tommie sunshine, but if you've got questions, DonaldCrunk is probably the most experienced on this board in that area.
