Hello,

I made an electronic music track using the melody of "Coco Jambo" by Mr. President. I saw some people remixed it and I would like to know if I am allowed to use the melody and distribute the track? Is there any copyrights on the melody?

I already used "Samba de Janeiro" melody on one of my tracks that I distributed and there was no copyright problems.

I really want to distribute this track because I found a label for it.

Thank you for your answers

What you mean is you haven't been caught yet...

No, you cannot use any part of someone else's song without consent. (Unless that piece is what's called "in the public domain," generally about 100 years old; so nope on the "Coco Jambo").
