This amazing Dutch producer has set himself the target to create one beat for Jay Z by the end of 2014.
You could say Ramiks is as Dutch as it gets. Growing up in Hoogeveen, which is a small town in the east of Holland. His love for hiphop made him to the west frequently to connect with rappers. In 2014 Ramiks decided he should aim for the stars and started a campaign called ‘1beat4jayz’, as the name points out: his mission is to get Jay Z to rap on a beat of his before the end of the year.
Untill now several Dutch radio stations and online platforms invited him for interviews about this campaign and his recent works. He set up a website and social media pages in which he posts new beats every single week.
Next to that he makes video vlogs to give his fans and followers an insight of his work ethic and how he’s trying to connect with Jay Z.
He also produced an EP for a Dutch artist called ‘Aziz’. The EP can be heard or download via the following links:
