Polyplex VS Battery 4

So I just got ultimate and I've been using battery 4. Love it as a sampler, wish there were ways to program each instrument on its own track rather than just route it to its own track but oh well. Was thinking about checking out polyplex but it kind of just looks like a smaller battery with a randomize function I'm not really interested in.


Thoughts? Polyplex worth learning over Battery 4? I love all the extra cells on battery so you can drag in a whole row of just audition cells. Polyplex only has one row.

Yeah, different beasts, imo.

Polyplex is pretty cool, but it is not quite as 'full featured' as Battery.
Battery is really a foundation tool, capable of all things drum. Polyplex is just slightly a bit of a toy in comparison, although its fantastic.
Also, Polyplex lives in Reaktor, which is fine, but brings some 'overhead' with it in terms of actual use.
Polyplex is worth learning, but it is not a replacement for Battery, imo.
