OMF tool

I recently downloaded Protools LE, but everytime I try to start it, it tells me to get OMF tool 3.0 or higher. I went back to Digidesgin, but they only have a 2.5. WTF?

Can I substitue a different OMF Tool?

What exactly does it do, and where could I get another one?

I'm running a Mac.
