hi everybody,
i am a great lover of muzic and i have a great passion for making remixes. but i do not know the free shareware softwares available on the net for doing so. please help me.

well what do you want to do exactly... "remix" means you are rewriting the whole song (each track, separately), and make your own version from it. There is no magic solution and its really up to you... do you have any music equipment?

now... if you mean you want to mix different musics together, that's different... You can use the program currently reviewed on this site called MJ Studio if you don't have any equipment to mix songs.

Good luck

To start out try Cubasis, it's fairly cheap and it also supports VST plug-ins which act as virtual instruments on your computer. For instance there's the LM-4 plug-in that's an excellent drum machine/sampler module, better than some stand-alones that are out. Then if it's synths that you're after try the Pro-Five plug-in, you can modulate till your heart's content and beyond.

Good advice. VST plugins are efficient when the computer is fast.

It depends, if you are just trying to add effects (like flange, echo, panning, etc. I woulld use Goldwave. It is pretty good and it is less than 1 megabite. You can also do it for mp3's. But, the shareware gives you up to a 40 buck limit. That is what it costs, but just download it again.
