Best thing for me was Razor in Reaktor, you should try it, Sylenth is not bad either.

I do both. Design is very fun in Omnisphere. And now with v2.x, you can easily export them as sound banks to sell/share

Was a question for OP really... recommended synths are very different depending if you are a pure preset user or design all your own sounds

I am using Omnisphere, Reaktor (Razor), Serum, LUSH 101 etc..

It is fun to tweak your own at times, =)

Imo reason's synths and reaktor. Especially reaktor 6.
Favorite synths out of all of them for me, studio one's a nice sequencer though.
If it wasn't for reason, reaktor would be main.

Use what your DAW already have.

Serum is easily my favorite synth! It's $189 but its worth every penny. Wayyy better than massive imo.
