Hey, I'm making a score for a friend of mine, And I wanted to experiment with some brass and horns this time, But the thing is, Im entirely new to it. Should you tell me the instruments involved in a traditional brass section? what frequency spectrum and note values the occupy? And tips on mixing and panning them? And advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    I'm using Session's Horns btw.

No idea about any of that, but if u want a good vst for brass and string sections and a bunch of other stuff try out dsk overture.
Most realistic sounding i've heard and it's free.
