this ones for all of the Kontakt users out there. I just got the software and I only basically use it to make custom kits with all my wav file samples. Then I ran into a sample pack that had piano chops that were all labeled according to key. Thats when I started to think about how the best way to make a kit out of the piano chops would be. I was thinking to take the chop and place it over the to the key that is was labeled for in the Kontakt mapping editor, then stretch it out to fit the rest of the octave. Anyone done this before and know of a good way of doing this???
