Maschine: Low Pass Filter

I'm new to Maschine and producing as a whole and I'm wondering if anyone who uses Maschine could maybe give me a quick break down/tutorial of how they add a low pass filter to a song. More specifically how to add a low pass filter to a sampled hip hop style beat. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
