FL studio 12 question

I need to know how to do something in fl studio but im not sure what the technical term for it is.


Basically i want to extend a track to the length of the entire project


for instance if i have a track for lead guitar, but it only appears in certain parts of the song, i want that track to be the entire length of the project and not just the length of which the guitar is played

I'm guessing you're talking about an actual audio track and not midi? One way you can do it is by soloing the guitar track and highlighting from the beginning to the end of the project, goto file export wav and then drag it back into the session
