What to do when you need a note that sounds bad?

As topic says Im in need of a note when using a choir sample within Reason but it sounds really bad, the note itself. I guess the key is too dark for the choir sample or something, Ive applied compression and all to smooth out the sound and it made it better but the problem still remains.
I cant let go of this note, changing the pattern is not a solution : (

Anyone got any advice?

velocity or sample the arrangement and relay it as a sample in the nnxt and shape it that way... I have the same issue with samples alot so that what I do to up-fake the issue... good luck

Just because it in a refill does not mean it's not a wav file.
It could be wav or a rex. Just pitch it up I guess
