Rewire & Logic Pro Question......not the typical one

I know how to rewire, but the problem i have is when I add a instrument channel and play the keys i hear the rewire channel. How do I set it up so that the rewire doesn't play the same sound as the instrument channel I open up.
 
don't really understand whats going on, but it sounds like you need to go reason and turn off the midi controller. Reason may be sending out MIDI as well as Logic. When you rewire you want Logic to send out MIDI, not Logic and Reason
