Hi

I just bought an Emulator 4 Platinum and a Roland A-70 controller keyboard and I'm looking for a software-based sequencer for Windows/PC that's not too difficult for beginners to use.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

EMU E4 PLATINUM!

now THAT's a good sampler! excellent.
Make sure you upgrade the memory (ram) to max (i think its 128MB).

You should go all the way to Cubase VST 5, it is really nice.

BUT if you want something easy, go for CAKEWALK. It is easier to use. I used to compose with cakewalk for years and recently moved to cubase VST 5 but cake is still good.

Did you get a dedicated MIDI interface? you should get a MIDIMAN 2x2 or 4x4 USB from www.midiman.net they are nice. It enables you to connect your machines and communicate with stability.

good luck! post any question you have on the forums!
