mp3 encoding problem

For about the past month whenever i try to render a beat from fl in mp3 format i get a message saying "could not open mp3 encoding stream..."

I have no idea what this even means and this has never been a problem. A search in the fl studio manual found nothing. Is this an FL problem or a computer problem.

In the mean time i have been rendering to wav and converting into mp3 but the process sucks and i think ruduces my quality.

Thanks for any help.

of course it reduces quality, it's MP3 no matter how you slice it. MP3 is a lossy format. export to wave, then use something with decent conversion to convert to MP3. convert at 192kbps or higher to retain some of the quality. itunes sounds fine to me, so i just roll with that at 192kbps constant bit rate. what bit depth are you converting at, 64kbps?

fixed

okay, what you do is open fl studio>options>audio settings then change the 'sample rate HZ' to 44100 this is what i did and it fixed it right away hope that helps!
