Is it even possible to learn them all? I'm talking about knowing every sound bank/preset in each synth and stuff like that. Do you think knowing that would be a plus when making beats/sound selection?

No need to memorize any presets if you know what the knobs/faders of the plugins actually do. I would start with that.

If you know what type of plugin they are that means you know how to operate them.
As long as they are in the category you trained in, you should be good.
Took a theory class for a few months in 2017 that had nothing to do with technology, but it was a great experience anyways![]()
