I've tried and inquired with my inner circles throughout the years and never learned how to recreate this sound. It is too beautiful not to know. Im hoping somewhere here knows how and also knows the correct terminology for the name of this sound.

Synth (probably analog) set-up to imitate a clean lead electric guitar, with reverb, and delay time set for rhythmic/in-time repeats.

Check out the synth vs. guitar “guitar battle” starting at about 3:26 here—
( YouTube ); the synth sound here has a little more edge, but you can get the shimmer and delay of your examples with proper effects.

There are presets out there, but if you’re going to try and make it from scratch, you might want to look into “Welsh’s Synthesizer Cookbook.”
