How to make fl studio samples play as notes???????

how do u take a sample ex. piano sample and play it in different notes because no matter what i press it still plays the same note any feedback would be appreciated
 
Sometimes when u drag and drop it on the playlist, it won't change the tone/note, but if you click on the sample in the browser list and choose "send to new channel" then you will be able to play it on different keys/notes.
 
i just click and send to a new channel but imma try the way you guys told me and repost aight thanx a lot
 
I think you're talking about something different. The solution that worked for me is:


drag file to your sampler in fl studio
go to smp tab, go down to time stretching and select 'resample'
then turn the 'time' knob all the way down

should work now
