FL9 sequencer playing song with no tracks selected!!

I had a song mapped out pattern by pattern and now when i try to rearrange them and turn off all the patterns i can still hear the beat playing even were there are no patterns selected to play. how do i fix this?
 
I dont know what "mapped out pattern by pattern" means, and i dont know what you mean by "turn off all the patterns". Do you mean you muted the tracks? You may have recorded the muting/unmuting in automation. Try going into the automation tab in the FL browser and see if theres anything suspicious in there, otherwise you need to give more info for help.
