Cubase playing sample half way through

Iv had this problem ages ago I load a sample into a audio track in cubase, he play bar goes over the sample but the sample only sounds half way through it dont play from the begining?
 
Which version of Cubase are you using? Is it a specific sample, and does this occur anywhere in the song or is it at the beginning of the song?
