my cubase seems to play the midi'd vst instrument late sorta buy like a second.. i jus hookd it all up like the midi keyboard is workin cuase wehn i record i can play it on time but i wont hear it playing back on time while im recording.. but after im done recording n i play it back it plays back on beat... i dont noe what to do!.... im on windows xp wit a realtek soundcard if thas got n e thing to do wit anything .. i doubt it tho but help please

Mess with the buffer size. Look in the manual if you dont know what that means.

Also make sure you are using the realtek ASIO Drive in your device setup.
The delay is because you are monitoring the playback post cubase. And Cubase is giving you that delay. Read your sound card manual and find out how to monitoe per cubase.
