Audacity vs Recycle

Basically i need an audio editor to change the pitch of a sample without messin with the tempo. Im pretty sure both can do this. Audacity is free and recycle is not. Can anyone tell me if audacity does a good job at this compared to Recycle, or any other audio editor actually.

Im not sure what the capabilities of Audacity are, but I love ReCycle. ReCycle will have a few artifacts if you over stretch it. but its still a great program. I use a lot of Rex files and ReCycle allows me to do so. Now Maschine has a great time stretch and pitch adjustment too, so if you are looking for an alternative there is a great one also. But this comes at a price as well.
