iRig Recorder now with iOS 7 and new iPhone 5 device compatibility

The new version of iRig Recorder, a professional field-recording and editing app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, adds a number of new features, highlighted by Audiobus and iOS 7 compatibility, as well as full graphics support for the iPhone 5 and new iPod touch. Digital Audio Support (use any standard 30-pin/Lightning audio interface), Audio Copy functionality, and Restore In-App Purchases Function are also included in the new version.
Powerful and easy to use, iRig Recorder provides the tools necessary to record, edit, and process podcasts and other audio productions. Capturing audio on iRig Recorder is easy, and with the Auto Record option activated, iRig Recorder starts recording immediately upon launch, letting users quickly respond to unexpected recording opportunities. Once recorded, audio can be processed with a suite powerful and intuitive effects, designed to optimize the audio quality and provide creative options.
IK’s iRig Mic and iRig MIC Cast mobile microphones, or iRig PRE mobile mic preamp with a professional XLR mic, are ideal accessories for producing better quality recordings in iRig Recorder than can be delivered with a built-in mic.
Audiobus Compatibility*
iRig Recorder joins five other IK apps that are already Audiobus compatible: AmpliTube, iGrand Piano, iLectric Piano, SampleTank, and VocaLive. iRig Recorder is compatible with the Output slot in Audiobus, where it can record audio from other apps and use its waveform editing and effects to produce finished projects. Audiobus (from Audiobus Pty Ltd) is a third-party app that allows multiple audio apps to connect together and run simultaneously.
iPhone 5 Support and More
iRig Recorder 1.5 also adds support for the larger displays on the iPhone 5 and new iPod touch, and Apple’s Retina Displays.
Another key addition to iRig Recorder 1.5 is its Audio Copy feature, allowing recorded audio to be copied and pasted into another app. In addition, iRig Recorder now supports digital audio input from both 30-pin and Lightning-equipped sources.
