Yet another headphones question

Hi guys and gals i have a set of krk vxt 4's but for obvious reasons mixing 808's, subs, general low end is pretty difficult. I was looking at the krk 8400headphones as i've heard good things. Has anyone used these?

The KRK KNS 8400 have some really good frequency extension,
with no sudden dropoffs on either end of the spectrum:



However,
When you mix with them, you do need to be careful of that dip at around 80Hz,
and note that everything 400Hz and under is fairly exaggerated.

As far as headphones go,
they do an absolutely fantastic job at extending all the way to the 20kHz range.
Most headphones barely have a response up there.
