what to buy for 4000 pounds

Hi everyone, please i need your advice on what and what to get.
Right now a friend is in London to buy stuffs for me.
i need a Digital mixer,
Microphone,
M-audio project mix or Digi 003
A Mac computer
Axiom pro 69
A decent Pre-amp
and some outboard processors Like Compressor and Equaliser.
My Question is Can i get all this for 4000 pounds? cos thats what i gave Him.

Yeah, you can get that for 4000 pounds and still have change as well I guess. Don't you have google for searching for uk prizes?
Just go to google.co.uk and fill in "[the item you wanna buy]+buy" and you'll get some prize indications.
It depends a bit on what digital mixer you'd like to buy.
Something like this?
Tascam DM 3200
You'd have enough money left to pick out some nice stuff.
Use the search function on the forum to find yourself some tips on quality gear.

If you are using a mac or Windows XP look into the Yamaha 01x for the digital mixer, they are no drivers for newer windows versions unfortunately but you can get it for 400$ used these days.
