modular synths

I'm seriously considering building/buying various synth modules. I think I'm not going to buy/build an entire synth to start. Just what I'll need to use it as a filter box, kind of like the ATC-1.

If you have any suggestions on any sort of DIY (entire synths or) modules that would be good to take a look at or you've had experience with please let me know.

Maybe this is a bad idea and there are other ways of getting lots of filter types that I'm unaware of? Any info greatly appriciated.

Yes it does, using the analog inputs you could setup any sort of filter you like.
