MicroKorg Mic

I want to purchase either a microkorg or korg r3 i was just wondering if I have to use the mic it comes with or is it possible to connect a different kind?

I believe its just a basic xlr connection. So you can use any mic that does not need phantom power. Why would you want to use a different mic though?

cuz I tried out da mic on da microkorg and I had 2 almost yell so it can pick up my voice

theres no xlr input on the microkorg...just a plug for dynamic mics and one small ass one for that ****ty "condenser they give u...i have the reverse key microkorg..and the mic is indeed ****ty...so i just use a cheap lil shure pg28 dynamic mic with it..works fine!.
and sounds hell of alot better then that garbo mic

yes, plugging ina new mic is defintly a good look. i own the micro korg and i get more out of it everyday that i use it.
